Description Cover Valet Spa Cover Lifter
With side mounting and deck mounting options, the Cover Valet takes all the effort out of lifting your spa cover up and down. This low-profile lifter, uses high quality, locking shocks to make your cover virtually weightless.
Unlike other cover lifters, Cover Valet is perfect for tight spaces like within a gazebo or spas set in a sunken deck, because they only need 6-8 inches behind your spa to effectively store your cover.
The Cover Valet is made of powder-coated steel with zinc-coated hardware that will prove strong in the harshest weather. Cover Valet is backed by a one-year warranty. CV250 Model fits covers 90" wide or smaller, while the CV400 model has a stronger shock to accomodate larger covers or any cover with 5" x 3" or 6" x 4" 2lb density foam.

Q: Your info states, "Cover Valet is perfect for tight spaces like within a gazebo or spas set in a sunken deck, because they only need 6-8 feet behind your spa to effectively store your cover." Am I right in assuming you mean 6-8 inches (not feet) behind your spa?
A: You are correct. Thank you for pointing that out. We will update the description.
Q: Can I get installation instructions before purchasing the lift to make sure it will work with my setup?
A: Installation instructions for the Cover Valet can be found here: http://covervalet.com/_resources/pdf/lifters/cv_inst.pdf
Q: is this a cover for the tub or just a lift?
A: It is a lifter for the cover.
Q: The width must be adjustable to work on various sized spas, my spa is approx 79" wide x 79" . It would be installed on a tub that is partially surrounded by deck. Does the 1st 1/2 of the cover get manually folded up?
A: Yes, the first half of the spa is manually folded. Then the Cover Valet helps you with the rest.
Q: Is the cover valet recommended for use with large swim spas? We have the Masterspa 19D H2X. It has 2 covers that meet in the middle, so we would need a lift for each side.Does installation require holes to be drilled into the spa shell? I'm concerned that may void the warranty.
A: Yes, holes do have to be drilled into the shell. The Cover Valet can only hold up to max width of 100". It can also be installed into the deck as well.
Thank You
